TV comedian Farrukh Shah passes away

Pakistani comedian Farrukh Shah has passed away on Wednesday. The stage actor was a part of GNN programme ‘Taron say Karein Batain’. The actor’s funeral prayers will be offered after Maghrib prayers. Based on accounts from the comedian’s family members, Farrukh Shah suffered a heart attack which proved fatal.

There are several contributions by actors to the stage. He was among the comedians who were trying to keep the stage acting and stand-up art-form alive. Farrukh was also a part of GNN’s other comedy production such as ‘Joke Dar Joke’. A number of fellow comedians extended their condolences to his family, with tributes and posts dedicated to him pouring in on social media.
