President of Awami National Party (ANP) Asfandyar Wali Khan has said that opposition has no differences.
While talking to media today in Islamabad, he said that his party workers have reached the site of rally.
“We have reached here and will address the rally today. As opposition, we have to register our protest,” he said.
Asfandyar added that Rahbar Committee had decided to hold rally today.
“Decisions should not be changed once they are taken,” he added.
Speaking on Tezgam incident, he said that ever since Sheikh Rasheed has become Railway Minister, the department is going towards destruction.
Earlier today, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chief denied the claims of PML-N leadership that Azadi March’s rally has been postponed.
According to Maulana, all caravans would reach their destination on time.
“Rally and sit-in are part of Azadi March. Marriyum Aurangzeb has nothing to do with the March. Since it’s our March, decision will also be made by us,” Fazl said.
His statement came after President PML-N Shehbaz Sharif stated that opposition will not stage a rally today in T-chowk due to the tragic incident of Tezgham train fire.
The postponement claims were also made by PML-N’s spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb and Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal who said they would stage rally tomorrow after Friday prayers.
