Coronavirus pandemic forces Ahad Raza Mir to postpone Hamlet production


The Canadian-Pakistani star actor Ahad Raza Mir last year won the heart of audience in Canada’s Calgary with his prodigious performance he delivered in play Hamlet.
The Ehd-e-Wafa actor also managed to win the Betty Mitchell Awards in the ‘Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Drama’ category.

However unfortunately, Mir took to Instagram announcing that the production of the play has been delayed till 2021 due to coronavirus pandemic.

He wrote, “To be or not to be…. Well, unfortunately not this year. The Rose Theatre and I have decided to postpone our production of Hamlet to next year”.

“Its too bad, but we’ll all meet soon enough to experience the magic of Shakespeare together. Thank you to all my fans for your patience and love. See you at the theatre in 2021,” he concluded.
